Job Description
A position is available for a person to primarily invent and coordinate a Community primary school aged Children's Ministry within a rural NSW community. This position is flexible in that its job description will be based upon the successful applicant's strengths in the area of ministry to young people.
This position offers full time employment, yet over several job types. The Job Description can be divided into 3 main parts:
Primarily and most importantly this job would focus on INVENTING and CO- ORDINATING a program for primary school aged children that promotes the Christian faith and GROWS children to an understanding of who Jesus is. The successful applicant would work with a Presbyterian Pastor and parents who are actively involved in the life of the church. (Estimated 2 days per week)
This person would serve as a SRE teacher in several local primary and secondary schools and be part of the local scripture in schools’ team. (Estimated 1 day per week)
Negotiations would exist to be an employee of local Christian farmers. This job would cover a wide range of duties involving livestock and/or broadacre cropping (primarily sheep, cattle and cereal crop growing). Experience is not a prerequisite as training will be on the job. (Estimated 1-2 days per week)
